Helios bread owes its characteristic taste and appearance to malt rye flour and also to rye leaven, due to which the crumb is distinguished by a natural ‘golden’ colour, and the crust becomes appetizingly brownish. By using natural malt and leaven, longer freshness of a ready product is achieved and maintaining proper acidity of bread is guaranteed. A substantial characteristic of Helios mix is the fact that it does not contain any preservatives or artificial colourings. In addition, the taste and nutritional value of bread has been intensified by the addition of sunflower seeds, linseed and oat bran.
