  1. Lesaffre Polska S.A., with its registered office in Wołczyn 46-250 at ul. Dworcowa 36, (“Lesaffre”, ‘Company’) pays special attention to the privacy of users of the website www.lesaffre.pl (“Website”). If you use the Website, this Privacy Policy is addressed to you.
  2. In the Privacy Policy, you will find information on how we use the personal data you provide to us, how we secure it, and what your rights and obligations are.

II. Who collects my personal data

  1. The administrator of the personal data you provide is Lesaffre Polska S.A. with its registered in Wołczyn 46-250 at ul. Dworcowa 36.

III. How is my personal data collected?

  1. When you visit the website www.lesaffre.pl, IT data relating to your visit is collected automatically, in particular:
    1. IP address,
    2. type of operating system,
    3. type/model of browser.

    Visiting our website does not require you to provide any other information or personal data.

The collected data is provided voluntarily in other ways, e.g. by telephone, fax, e-mail, through the newsletter subscription form or by using the contact form, only if you wish to provide us with such data, e.g. in order to receive an offer or subscribe to the newsletter.   4. In summary, we may collect and later process your personal data for the following purposes:

    2. marketing our own products (if you are our Customer, we may process your data for marketing purposes on the basis of our legitimate interest; on the same basis, we use remarketing tools based on cookies; in other cases, our marketing activities are based on your consent);
    3. sending newsletters – if you have given your consent;
    4. recruitment – if you have submitted your application to us by sending your resume and cover letter.

IV. How long we store and process your data

Your data is processed for different periods of time:

  1. If you send us an email, e.g. to one of our sales representatives, your data will be stored and processed for the period necessary to respond to your request.
  2. If you subscribe to our newsletter, your data will be stored and processed until you withdraw your consent to receive our newsletter.
  3. If you send us your CV and cover letter, your data will be stored and processed for current and future recruitment for the same position, but for no longer than 12 months from the date of submission of your application.

V. How is the data collected for newsletter subscription?

  1. When subscribing to the newsletter and consenting to receive it, please provide your first and last name, city, company name, and email address to which we will send information.
  2. We collect the above data in order to personalize our newsletter as much as possible.
  3. You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking on the unsubscribe link in the footer of each newsletter.
  4. In order to collect information about what content from our messages you read and what is not of interest to you, we use software that allows us to analyze this data. Your personal data obtained in this way is not transferred to other entities, except for the company operating our Website and companies operating servers for the above purposes.

VI. How is data collected for recruitment purposes?

  1. If you want to contact us via the contact form, we need your first name, last name, email address, phone number, and your resume or cover letter.
  2. Your resume or cover letter should include an explicit consent clause, e.g., “I consent to the processing of my personal data contained in the application documents I have submitted for the purposes of the recruitment process for the position of ………….…………………… [job title to be completed by you], and future recruitment processes for such a position, conducted by Lesaffre Polska S.A. with its registered office in Wołczyn.” Such information does not condition the conclusion of an employment contract, but serves to demonstrate that we have obtained your consent to collect and process your personal data.
  3. If you send us your CV, we will store and process it only for the purposes of current and future recruitment for the same position, but for no longer than 12 months.

VII. How is personal data collected automatically? What are cookies?

  1. As already mentioned, we automatically collect some of your data when you visit our Website. This data is collected by what are known as “cookies”.

B. Google AdWords (cookies)

C. Facebook conversion pixel

  1. Our website uses the so-called “Facebook pixel” of the social network Facebook to manage advertisements on Facebook and Instagram and to carry out remarketing activities.
  2. We only receive statistical data from Facebook without reference to specific individuals. This allows us to check the effectiveness of advertisements on Facebook and Instagram for statistical and market research purposes. IX. For what purposes is personal data not derived from cookies used? Is it transferred to anyone?

    2. receiving any objections and requests you may have,
    3. recruitment, if you have provided us with information about yourself for this purpose.
  2. If necessary for the performance of the above activities, your data may be transferred to other entities. Such transfer may only take place with our consent, on the basis of a concluded agreement, and only to those who ensure that your data will be adequately protected and processed in accordance with the law. This means that your personal data is transferred:
    1. the company that operates our Website,
    2. the hosting provider that maintains our Website on its servers,
    3. the IT company that maintains a backup copy of the website,
    4. HR agencies, if we commission them to conduct a given recruitment process.
  3. We do not transfer your personal data outside the European Economic Area.
  4. If you consent to us using your personal data for the purpose of receiving commercial information (newsletter), your data will be collected and used for marketing purposes, i.e. to send you marketing information.

If you are not our customer and have not consented to receiving marketing information by email, by text message, or by phone, then the personal data you provide to us (e.g., to our employee or consultant) directly, e.g., by phone, may be used by us only for the purpose of contacting you and providing you with the necessary assistance and for the purpose of the agreement concluded between us and you or your company.
  6. If you are our customer, we may contact you to promote our products as part of a legally justified purpose. However, if you do not wish to be contacted by phone or email, we can only send you written materials by traditional mail.

X. Do I have access to my personal data? Can I revoke my previously given consent to receive commercial information?

  1. Please note that you have the right to access your personal data at any time. You can obtain a copy of your personal data held by us free of charge.

XI. Is my personal data protected?

  1. Your data is secured by us through the use of organizational and technical measures necessary and appropriate to prevent the risk of violation of your rights or freedoms.
  2. In particular, we protect your personal data from being made available to unauthorized persons, as well as from damage or loss.
  3. The security of data transmission is ensured by the use of the SSL (Secure Socket Layer v3) transmission protocol. SSL involves encrypting data before it is sent> from your browser and decrypting it after it has securely reached the server handling the Website.

XII. Final Clauses.

  1. The principles set out in the Privacy Policy are subject to Polish law.
  2. You can always file a complaint about our handling of your personal data. The complaint is filed with the President of the Office for Personal Data Protection.
  3. This Privacy Policy comes into force on 25.05.2018.
